Ran is a single mom battling cancer. She came over years ago from Malaysia and doesn’t have any family here locally in Texas so when she was sick, she didn’t have much of a support system. She and I have become close friends and we talk all the time because she needs that while she goes on her journey. Some of her family has now flown over from Malaysia to help support her during her treatment and she and I continue our dialogue and always will.
